I. Features: Nitrile rubber particles P83P are characterized by being non-toxic, exhibiting excellent oil resistance, high plasticizing capacity, and superior elasticity.
II. Main Applications:
1. Used as an elastic modifier for PVC.
Method 1: Based on the original soft PVC product formulation, add 15 kg of P83P for every 100 kg of PVC base material, while reducing the amount of plasticizer by an equivalent amount; the resulting product exhibits good elasticity with minimal increase in cost.
2. Used as the primary plasticizer for PVC.
Due to the excellent compatibility between nitrile rubber P83P and PVC, adding a large amount of P83P—even up to 150 parts—will not result in any precipitation issues. In formulations containing more than 100 parts of plasticizer, P83P can replace part of DOP, DINP, or DOTP as the primary plasticizer for PVC or other rubbers; for example, a formulation consisting of 70 parts DOTP and 60 parts nitrile rubber particles can eliminate the risk of plasticizer precipitation. The resulting products exhibit exceptional elasticity and hand feel, outstanding oil resistance, and good cold resistance. Nitrile rubber is thus referred to as a "high-molecular-weight plasticizer."
3. It can be used as an oil-resistant product alone or combined with PVC as its oil-resistant plasticizer. Since P83P is a polar rubber, it exhibits excellent resistance to non-polar oils and chemicals, such as engine oil, hydraulic oil, gasoline, diesel, and animal and vegetable oils; it is widely used in components such as seals, oil lines, and fuel systems.
